Season Outlook
The East Region figures to be a classic battle for the top four playoff spots. WWCC returns several outstanding players and looks to be the early favorite to win the league. The region has been dominated of late by CBC and YVCC and look for those programs to continue to be super tough. TVCC is looking to return to the NWAACCs again. And CCS always has a great squad.
We are excited about having seven returning players! Sarah Smith returns as the team’s MVP and leading scorer from last year. She will be complemented by the return of Dana Bates, who did not play last year with a torn ACL, but is looking to make up for lost time with an outstanding sophomore campaign. And we are counting on great seasons from the other returning sophomores in Anderson, Canfield, Nordby, Parker and Schwulst.
